US ATLAS Distributed Facility Workshop at SLAC

The next US ATLAS Computing Facilities face-to-face meeting to discuss a number of topics pertaining to evolving the distributed facility with new capabilities and services while maintaining on-going operations for ATLAS production and analysis. Topics will include:  
  • Facility readiness for DC14: data reduction and analysis
  • Technical options from the Tier 3 implementation committee
Hosted by SLAC, the one day meeting will be co-located with the OSG All Hands Meeting (April 8-10) and the workshop on Federated Data Stores (April 10,11).

Meeting Registration: You must also register at the main OSG All Hands registration site.  Also, register at left to indicate you'll be attending the US ATLAS Facilties meeting on Monday.

Lodging options: There is a block of rooms reserved at the SLAC guest house (Front Desk: (650) 926-2800) under group code SCA0414 for the special rate of $119 per night.

Note on parking: Due to construction at SLAC, parking is extremely limited.  Please considering using shuttles from the airports to SLAC and arranging to share cars to attend dinners.
