The purpose of this kick-off meeting on CO2 cooling for the LHCb upgrade is to start the process of defining the cooling requirements for the VELO and UT detectors and the specifications for the cooling plant.
We wil start with an brief overview what has been done for other detectors using CO2 cooling, in particular for the ATLAS IBL detector, followed by a first round of presentations on the requirements for VELO and UT.
