CLIC PM DBQ Status Meeting:

Present:
CERN: M.Modena, A.Latina, J.Esberg, M.Struik
Daresbury: N.Collomb, B. Shepherd, P. Wadhwa, J. Clarke

Agenda:
1. Status of the Low Gradient PM DBQ prototype
2. Discussion on future CLIC Transfer lines dipole design

Minutes DRAFT:
Point 1.
Ben and Norbert presented the status of the Low Gradient prototype (see slides).
The magnet was magnetically measured with hall probe system.
First results were discussed.
Some modification to improve performances are already identified but no other mechanical modificatioon are expected for the moment.
The next step could be the transport to CERN for magnetic measurement with rotating coils and stretched wire.
Michele and Norbert discussed about the 4 reports on industrialization of the High and Low gradient magnet design. Reports are considered completed so they can be transmitted to CLIC Management for information and archiving.
It is proposed to release two conclusive CLIC Notes on all the work done on those prototype (including: design, performances and industrial development study).

Point 2.
Studies are alreday started, in occasion of IPAC14 Ben and Michele will discuss the first conceptual work done by Daresbury.
No other questions from Daresbury and CERN side.

ACTION LIST:
1. Michele: contact Magnetic Measurement section to identify possible slots for thr Low Gradient prototype measurement (starting from August)
2. Michele: transmit to CLIC management the 4 Notes on industrialization of the PM DBQ prototypes for further actions on documentation side.
3. Jakob: check if the required specification on DBQ Gradient homogneity or other have changed since the discussion with Erik Adli.
4. Daresbury collegues: comunicate preferred slots for their presence at the test at CERN.
5. Daresbury collagues: plan the writing of CLIC Notes with the prototype material available. Notes can be released at differnt time.
