Description
The latest top quark mass from the Tevatron is mt = (171.6 +- 1.4) GeV. At such high precision several theoretical questions naturally arise: What mass scheme is being measured? How do perturbative corrections modify the relation between the measurement and the Lagrangian mass parameter? How does soft (non-perturbative) radiation modify the measured value? In this talk I answer these questions and more for the simpler process e+e- -> t-tbar jets, and mention implications for current Tevatron and future LHC top-mass measurements.
