The latest ILC status in Japan 1h
The ILC (International Linear Collider) is a next e+ e- collider starting from 250 GeV CME and extendable to 1 TeV CME. In 2013, the TDR has been published and the Japanese candidate site was decided to be the Kitakami area. The Science Council of Japan (SCJ) recommended to investigate the ILC project status, and the budget for the investigation is now approved. Now, two committees are formed under the SCJ and another task-force is organized in MEXT (Ministory of Education, Science, Sports, and Technology, Japan). The latest status of ILC in Japan is presented.
