Aim of the workshop
To make a meeting place for people working on high precision time measurement, to provide a place for discussions of currently existing systems with ps precision – their advantages and disadvantages, needed radiation hardness for use in high energy physics (HEP), fast electronics, red-blue compensation, simulations; possible collaborations
Time schedule
- 14th – arrival & registration 14:00-17:00
- 15th – main day; program 9-12:00 [3-6 talks] – 13-17:00 [4 – 8 talks], workshop dinner 18:00
- 16th – departure day ; discussion & summary (1-2 hours)
Workshop fee: 50 EURO (1 lunch, social dinner & refreshment included)

By car
Olomouc is accessible via highways from Prague (highway D1 and speedway R46) and Ostrava (D1). Coming from Wien, use the connection through Mikulov and Brno to enter D1 highway. If you come from Bratislava, use D2 highway to Brno to reach D1 highway.

By train
Olomouc is connected directly with Prague (at least one train per hour), Brno and Ostrava. Coming from Wien or Bratislava, there is one transfer either in Břeclav or Brno or Přerov. In Olomouc Main railway station you can use taxi or local city traffic (abbreviated MHD) to reach your hotel.
By bus

Local city traffic (MHD) in Olomouc
The Main railway station is the main transport junction in Olomouc. Use the scheme below of stops locations. Use one of any tramways to reach Centrum. Use tramway 1, 5 or 7 to reach JLO via stop Envelopa) or use tramways 2, 3, 4 or 6 to reach JLO via stop Žižkovo náměstí.
