AFS service/operation meeting

AFS meeting 2014-11-24

Issues:

• ABS is now OK. Since using its own dedicated CASTOR nameserver, no more mails about runtime errors, no more backups failed twice in a row. Double-checked that they were indeed still running, absence of mails was scary :-) 
• BOINC - no more feedback. Clearly still running (and did change script to not run "fs setacl" as often), no more lockups.
• UID request ("migrate all accounts with UID<1000") - fairly disruptive for all storage systems (AFS,CASTOR, EOS - least). Feedback provided, still unclear where this was coming from.. or why.
• 1.6.6-cern3 is in testing, supposed to fix the AFS-165 client crashes.
• correct_acls: still causes OOM, including on the "upstream" 1.6.9 client
