Inflation has become the standard paradigm of early universe cosmology.
Several outstanding questions in inflationary cosmology, however, require
an understanding of the underlying UV physics. In this talk, I will
discuss some of these issues and argue how one might turn these UV
sensitivities into observational opportunities for string inflation.
