Constraining neutrino cosmology with Planck data

Neutrinos play an important role in the evolution of the Universe from radiation dominated early times until late structure formation. Cosmology, and in particular the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB), are thus valuable tools for testing Neutrino Physics. Using full-sky temperature and polarization data from the 2015 Planck release we can shed light on various interesting open questions such as the value of the absolute scale of neutrino masses or their energy density. I will describe the different steps of the analysis from the building of a full temperature and polarization likelihood function, through the estimation of the parameters using different statistical tools, and, finally, the interpretation of the results.
