First look at CLIC Combiner Rings

Participants: * K. Elsener, I. Ahmed, E. Adli, D. Schulte, B. Jeanneret, Y. Papaphillipou, R. Tomas, F. Stulle, L. Rinolfi, H. Braun DS: * ACE: we will go quickly through all the draft ACE presentations by Wednesday morning in order to coordinate - should be sent to DS by this date * structure of ACE meeting was presented BJ: status of the combiner rings * started with FS TA design and stretched it * assume dp_p_max of 1% (consistent with FS' work) - suggest to discuss to change the baseline to 1% * special constraint due to CSR: for CR and TA the R56 must be close to 0 along the whole lattice * DS: for alternative compression designs we must study the problem as a whole, including both compressors EA, 13-aug-2008
