Description

I give an overview of current research directions at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Los Alamos is Department of Energy lab with a broad range of research areas in science, non-proliferation, and nuclear security. I will summarize some of Los Alamos' focus areas in nuclear science and materials research. Advances at the LANSCE accelerator facility will be discussed, together with impacts on neutron transport, nuclear criticality safety, and simulation science with the MCNP code.
