Description
Recent septa failures will be briefly reviewed, along with a discussion of the
spares policy, the role of preventative maintenance and the reformulated
consolidation proposal. The importance of passive septa protection devices and well-
thought interlocks will be highlighted. The impact from planned or possible future
modes of operation will be discussed.
