CMS - Compact Muon Solenoid - is one of the gigantic detectors at the LHC accelerator. The only one which is open to visits!
Don't forget to:
- come with your car if you have one
- take your passport as CMS is in France, 15 km from the Meyrin CERN site
- take your camera: you will take fantastic pictures of the huge detector
