SHORT NOTES FROM THE MEETING on SLHC-PP Consolidation Exercise (M.Capeans, 9/9/08)
1. Discussion on number of productive hours as defined by the EC
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Discussion about how the number of total productive hours has been calculated. This number should be agreed by all services involved and used for all actions related to the project (reporting to EC, costing to CERN departments, audit, finance).

Page 40 explains how to calculate the productive hours, that must exclude annual leave, public holidays, training and sick leave.
The guide example quotes 210 workable days/year = 140 hours/month
For SLHC-PP we take the calculation done for EGEE (D.Mocova) that results in 143.3h/month, that is as follows:
No. of working days in a year: 261 days
Less no. of vacation days per year: 30 days
Less official holidays: 6 days
Less Lab annual closure: 10 days
Multiplied by no. of productive working hours per day (8 hours) / 12 months
2. Action: add time worked in other EU projects to the consolidation table
-----------
3. Action: clarify how to charge correctly the worked hours of USERs (subsistance)
-----------
4. Action: add 'person status' to the consolidation table
-----------
5. Action: Material cost tables> Add 'category/nature of cost' to the summary tables
