Description
I will discuss how the evolution of phase-space densities in dark matter-dominated systems can lead to restrictions on the mass of dark matter particles. I will critically review existing approaches and will discuss what bounds can be obtained based on modern astronomical observations of dwarf spheroidal galaxies -- the most dark matter dominated objects known.
