Description
Since the observation of CP violation in the B meson system last summer, the size of the data sample collected by the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC has almost tripled. I will review the latest measurements of time-dependent CP-violating asymmetries in neutral B decays to different final states, based on the analysis of about 88 million Upsilon (4S) decays into two B mesons. The final states discussed include CP eigenstates containing a charmonium meson that, in the Standard Model, can be used to measure sin2beta, and B0 decays to pairs of charged pions where the CP-violating asymmetry is related to the angle alpha of the Unitarity Triangle.
