I will discuss non-planar anomalies in noncommutative gauge theories. In particular a non-planar anomaly exists when the external noncommutative momentum is zero. In the case of non-planar local anomalies, a cancellation of the anomaly is achieved by a subtle Green-Schwarz mechanism. Global anomalies will be discussed also.
