Description
Jprint is a new Java 2 application for printing for UNIX users in CERN. It provides the same printing functionality's as lpr or xprint with a friendly graphic user interface. It also allows the printers administrators to control the printing queues easily. This seminar will give an overview of the new printing architecture in CERN and then describe the jprint tool: usage, structure, protocols implemented (RFC1179).
