In January 2001 a collaboration between industry, Profibus and vacuum experts from CERN and other laboratories was set up. The first results can be presented. A new phase of this collaboration will be proposed at a kick-off meeting to be held at CERN. The objective being to define device profiles for vacuum equipment. Rubio/ETT Division Leader - Roll call: Expert from industry - Confidentiality Issues / IPR: Expert from industry - Presentation of the PROFIBUS Profile Guide: Expert from industry - Questions and Answers - Discussion on how many WGs should be formed and what subjects should be covered by the nominated WGs - Nomination of WG conveners and replacements if desired - Organisation of the work and the working groups
