Generics is a leading business, innovation and technology consulting organisation which specialises in implementation as well as consultancy. The Generics Group has its own technology-aware investment fund with which to exploit the many ideas generated and patented by its 250 staff, and the organisation has an active policy of creating spin-out businesses, joint ventures and technology licensing. Furthermore it invests considerable sums in early-stage technologies from 3rd parties, such as universities, corporations and publicly funded research organisations. The company has offices in Cambridge (UK), Boston (US), Zurich (CH) and Stockholm (SE) and laboratories in Cambridge, Baltimore (US) and Stockholm. At Generics, Dr Peter Bance is head of the Business Development Services Group, and Tom Empson manages the Public Sector Consulting Practice.
