Description
I will be discussing the Weyl formalism, i.e. axisymmetric and static vacuum solutions to Einstein's equa-tions, and how it is extended in higher than 4 dimensions. I will describe a duality relation which will yield a solution generating technique and relation to scalar field spacetimes. I will discuss extensions of the C-metric to higher dimensions. The last point is related to finding an exact solution of a black hole space-time whose curvature singularity is localised on a domain wall or 3-brane.
