Description
"Induced" gravity is a covariant ghost-free theory in which the Newton law changes in the infrared, at large (horizon-size) distances. As such, it may offer a new paradigm for the evolution of the universe at very large scale. In this seminar, I explain how to study this theory as an effective quantum field theory, and I show that its intrinsic cut-off is enormously smaller than expected. It turns out to be 10-10 ev, corresponding to a distance of about 100 km!
