Description

CERN is a physics laboratory and this course focusses on the operation and design of computing facilities to meet physics requirements. In particular, much thought is being given now to the design of computing facilities for the LHC experiments and many of the issues involved will be covered in the course. Other aspects of Computing at CERN --- e.g. for accelerator and experiment design, theory and networking topics are also covered.
