Description
The CERN Expenditure Tracking-CET Application is built on an Oracle Data warehousing architecture, using Partitioning, Materialized Views and Query Rewrite, and on a component based J2EE framework. This presentation will discuss the flexibility of the above-mentioned architectures and in what way they play a critical part in the process of responding to and implementing change requests in a time- and resource efficient manner.
Implementing the Earned Value Management tool for LHC with J2EE frameworks
After a quick review of the scope of the tool, some elements of the design and the architecture of the application will be discussed. We will briefly discuss the usage of Oracle's Business Component For Java
framework as well as the Model-View-Controller (MVC) framework.
