Description
Modern control systems are entirely computerized and almost inevitably connected in some way to the Internet. As such, they are potentially vulnerable to Worms, Viruses or specific hacker attacks. The presentation will cover security risks for the architecture of a typical modern control system, mention examples of attacks which have occurred, and indicate the lines which can be followed to provide protection for our systems.
It is foreseen to hold detailed discussions between Mr. Lowe and those people with technical or managerial responsibility for control systems in the afternoon between 14:00 and 17:00 in 13-03-005. Would those people who wish the attend the workshop in the afternoon please announce their intention by sending an Email to the organizer.
