SA1 is responsible for middleware deployment. NA3 needs to establish a working relationship with SA1 in order to get early warning of changes in the middleware which may be being taught by NA3 or which it may be using in order to teach. Sometimes the best people to speak about a software component are the experts who were involved in its development or deployment. However, there are resource considerations, and a balance must be reached. This session is intended to develop a working relationship between SA1 and NA3.

A major part of NA4's work is the identification of early users and the introduction of new user communities. One of NA3's tasks is to ensure that new users are properly inducted and trained. NA3 and NA4 therefore need to establish a continuing relationship, to identify who needs to be trained, what sort of training they need, and then provide it in a timely and professional fashion.
