This seminar has the goal to provide a practical support for research, study, routine work and terminology in the field of Thermoluminescence (TL) and Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) radiation dosimetry. The TL and OSL models, as well as the stimulation sources and methods in OSL will be discussed. The materials used in TL and OSL dosimetry with their main applications will be also presented.
