  The Electronics Pool will suffer from a lack of income in 2005 due to the accelerator shut-down. Where should the Pool be going in the LHC installation and operation phases?
  Should the Pool concentrate on being THE supplier of laboratory instruments for PH, perhaps CERN? CERN spends >1MCHF/year on 'scopes - the Pool should perhaps be playing a role in supplying and standardising instrumentation of all sorts.
  Whereto with modular electronics? The Pool is concentrating on NIM and VME, as recommended by EPTAB - but apart from ensuring coherency in the "product line" at some level, is there something else to be done?
