Room: 40/R-C10 A brief overview of the way Quattor and the configuration language work. Should should read up on the system beforehand, so that most of the time can be spent on the concepts and ideas behind the Global Schema for configuration.

Overview of LCFGng grid components

Room: 40/R-C10 What components for configuring grid services are out there (approx. 50?) and what is there general state: bloated object (does lots of detailed configuration itself), config-file-writer, template-based, etc.

Inventory of configuration items

Room: 40/R-C10 compile a list of configuration data that is common to more than one object. We probably need to go through all the components and see whether data are duplicated (either obviously or implicitly)

A Global Schema for Grid configuration Room: 40/R-C10 make a first draft of the global schema for shared configuration items. Component local stuff could be kept out of this discussion

Work division for Components Room: 40/R-C10 Time to discuss who is going to port which components, as well as a rough planning

Testing facilities Room: 40/R-C10 Test bed to deploy stuff, who will have machines to do what, etc. Also: s/w development facilities, CVS, use of Savannah.
