Biography
Mr. Yaron Haviv is chief technology officer for Voltaire, Inc., a leader in intelligent connectivity solutions for InfiniBand. His deep expertise in technology has resulted in two Voltaire patents and high-level chip designs. He is responsible for initiating, managing and executing all technical discussions with business and technology partners and is the lead Voltaire liaison for InfiniBand standard committee discussions.
Mr. Haviv has been with Voltaire since 1997. He previously served as vice president of research and development. In addition, he was chief designer responsible for the system architecture of Voltaire's InfiniBand connectivity solution. Prior to Voltaire, Mr. Haviv solely designed and developed hardware products at Scitex. Earlier in his career he was a software consultant responsible for analysis, design, implementation and deployment of data management software projects for various organizations, including government institutions.
Mr. Haviv holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Tel-Aviv University in Israel.
