Description
The SMTF collaboration is constructing a broad-based high-power test facility
(HPTF) for superconducting RF modules at Fermilab. The purpose of HPTF is to test
pulsed and CW superconducting modules and support systems with and without beam to
facilitate progress in SRF. Slated projects are International Linear Collider 1.3
GHz modules, Proton Driver 325 MHz modules and Cornell CW modules. Fermilab is
collaborating with DESY to provide Low Level RF control systems for these
projects. In addition, SNS will provide a second LLRF system which may be used as
a passive monitor or as the system controller. Design of the Master Oscillator,
LLRF and Simulation work are covered. An overview of some of the recent LLRF
system upgrades is also presented to provide context to our plans and directions
for HPTF
