Guided tour of the construction site of the CMS experiment at the LHC.
First there will be a general introduction to CERN, followed by a visit to the accelerator control room in Lab 2 and afterwards the construction site of the CMS experiment.

Three identical sessions of this hands-on activity will take place, one at 1.30pm, a second at 3pm, and third at 4.30pm. Each of the participants will be assigned to just one session.
Three groups will visit CLIC indepently, one at 1.30pm, a second at 3pm, and third at 4.30pm. Each of the participants will be assigned to group for all of the afternoon's activities.
Each one of the 3 groups will spend 1.5 hours on working group activities when not engaged in the cloud chamber exercise or the visit to CLIC.
The Director General of CERN, Robert Aymar, will give a closing address. There will be an opportunity to present a short summary of work done during the programme.
