We begin now to have some estimates of Tier-2 capacity (UK, France, Russia). We have to decide if we are going to try provide a more complete view for the resource section in the TDR - which would impose a time constraint of end May.

16:00 "Balancing" resources to follow the computing models

Most centres have reviewed the balance of cpu-disk-tape resources to follow approximately the requirements of the experiments. However some centres are still badly unbalanced (GridKA, NIKHEF/SARA, TRIUMF in particular).

16:40 Tape Access Capacity at Tier-1s

If we can agree on resource "balancing" we can estimate the target tape access capacity required using the information in the computing models. Do we agree to do this? If so what units do we use? E.g. do we express this as the achievable long-term average throughput achievable, or the peak (short-term average) requirement, or the nominal data rate of the installed equipment.
