Hardware commissioning of the magnet systems comprises the test of
its individual components as much as their interaction within the
system.
Only the latter operation shall be addressed in the Hardware
Commissioning Review. The tests of the magnets are therefore

The basic problems in operating electrical circuits containing
superconducting elements and the essential safety issues are
recalled. There from, the relative importance of the various safety-
related components are deduced and their impact on the schedule and
operation, in case of failure, explained.
