THE SEMINAR IS POSTPONED.
In Europe since the mid 90's and in the US since Bayh-Dole act in early 80s research organizations have voluntarily became and have also met an increasing stakeholder pressure to function as catalysts of economic development and to facilitate ways to commercialize their potential research-based innovations. Research organizations have introduced different processes to detect potential innovations and substantial infrastructure has been built up to favour the technology transfer process. An overview of operative models and strategies to innovation commercialization with a special focus in Finland will be presented.
