      Structuring an EGEE-II course 30m
A talk followed by discussion, seeking to explore how to structure courses effectively. For example: 1. whilst many of the courses given by NA3 are generic, there are cases where courses should be tailored for specific user communities or partner projects. 2. practicals are a vital part of courses. t-Infrastructure 30m
t-Infrastructure is vital for training - as e-infrastructure supports production uses, so t-infrastructure supports training. It comprises a grid that can be booked and used for training, with reasonable expectation of fast turnaround of jobs to facilitate learning in the timescale of the tutorial session. It needs to be able to deploy middleware in anticipation of production use. It needs a lightweight CA so participants do not need a certificate before courses begin. The GILDA grid is widely used in EGEE courses. It is described with an emphasis on the procedures for its use by trainers. An overview of the information available on the GILDA site is also given.
