Description

In the framework of the upgrade of SM18 for HL-LHC the situation and plans for control room(s) in this hall shall be reviewed.

One proposal is to construct a new multi-purpose control room, near the future vertical test facility "cluster D". Before embarking on this the various needs, intentions and related aspects shall be looked at and the options assessed in terms of usefulness, efficiency, possible synergies, longevity, cost and safety.

Ideally the discussion shall lead to a conclusion; at least a list of outstanding items and timetable to solve them shall be agreed.
