      ECR - PS: Modification of the PS Ring MU41 and MU42 Vacuum Chambers 20m
      As part of the LIU project the injection kinetic energy of the PS will be increased from 1.4 to 2.0 GeV and a new injection septum will be required. To optimise the beam acceptance in the injection region, also the vacuum chambers inside the adjacent main dipoles need to be modified. Additionally, since the injection straight section will not provide sufficient space for the beam observation equipment anymore, so this equipment will have to be installed on these adjacent vacuum chambers.
