Description
The present status of pion decay experiments will be discussed.
The focus will be on precision tests of electron-muon universality
in weak interactions via measurements of the branching ratio
R=(pi-->e nu)/(pi ->mu nu). A recent TRIUMF measurement provided an
improved precision of 0.12 % in the ratio of g_e/g_mu. A further
improvement is expected in the future analysis based on more data.
