Description

The feasibility of measuring of BR($K^0_L \rightarrow \pi^0\nu\overline{\nu}$) using a high-energy secondary neutral beam at the CERN SPS is being studied. Assuming reuse of
the NA48 liquid-krypton calorimeter and some of the NA62 infrastructure, the studies suggest a sensitivity approaching that proposed by KOTO Step 2 is achievable in five years of running. We summarize the studies thus far carried out.
