- LHCb, TOTEM and ALICE acceptance presented (see slides on Indico)

- Out of the tracks seen in TOTEM T2 about 80% are secondaries due to primary-material interactions
- TOTEM triggered CMS readout up to now, not other way round

- Out of the tracks seen by the ALICE FMD about 50% are secondaries due to primary-material interactions (this value is an average, there is a strong eta dependence)

- LHCb VELO acceptance 1.5 < eta < 5 (forward)

- No pT measurement for TOTEM and ALICE (and LHCb VELO)

- Common pseudorapidity region for LHCb, TOTEM, ALICE: 3.1 < eta < 4.5

Trigger:
- ALICE: V0 trigger (2.8 < eta < 5.1), granularity?
- TOTEM: T2 trigger (5.3 < eta < 6.5), T1 not present used for trigger (too noisy, not a priority for other observables)
- LHCb: 2 < eta < 4.5 (tbc)

--> No overlapping trigger with TOTEM. A common trigger (see below) requires a MC driven correction for TOTEM.

Proposal:
- Charged primary particles in 3.1 < eta < 4.5, extrapolated to pT 0
- Event class: at least a) one, b) two, c) three charged primary particles within 3.1 < eta < 4.5
- The definition of primary particles follows the one agreed by the WG on 16.03.15

The reasoning for the three classes a), b), c) is that the MC-driven correction for TOTEM will be larger for events with small multiplicities. Therefore if discrepancies in the results between the collaborations arise, if these are largest in a) it may hint to a MC dependence while if they are similar in a), b) and c) it would point to a different explanation.
