AFS service/operation meeting

AFS operations meeting 2015-10-19

present: Dan, Kuba, Jan

Issues:

• SNOW ticket: backup not working? No, file was created 1h before being deleted.
• CC7 kernel module is only built for the latest kernel, user ticket.
  • Centos Stoarage SIG module use "dkms" instead
  • Jarek: could apply CERN patches from SLC6.. (so far not touched)? need to discuss
• 1 ticket: 10TB for ATLAS "Tokyo analysis group" -> EOS
• noted increase of mis-assigned tickets? some were due to OWH (i.e go to 3rd level, then go back to 2ns level i nthe morning..)
• ABS cleanup on CASTOR: starting manually, if OK will cleanup for last 6months (single CASTOR NS thread)
• AFS backup on TSM: will get list of leftover / uncleaned AFS volumes on TSM, need to decide (Massimo  or Jan) whether to keep
