AFS service/operation meeting

AFS operations meeting 2015-11-09

Issues:

• afscron1 full /var due to ABS bi-weekly checking cronjobs. Kuba will add logrotation (keep ~4weeks of data)
• 1.16.15 sec update: still crashes under stress test, looks like "rescheduling patch".
  • Suggestion: remove, see whether it still crashes ("git bisect" light)?
• ATLAS T0 software deployment use case: under discussion again
  • spotted bug in "summary" AFS overload script - does not filter out unrelated IP addresses?
• puppet - build /usr/afs/local/LocalNets from Hiera ("maintained" by agile team)
• WEBAFS replacement (using EOS + FUSE): testing resumed (Luca + OIS person; using hardcoded IP for now).
  • discussion (constrained delegation for Jupyter+FUSE, pro/cons vs LSFAUTH, upcoming Condor-F PAG-UID trick).
