USLHCNet - had problem with Ciena, waiting for fix to go back to the production config. - Testing badwidth protection with Ciena. MDM: - signing of the MoU is progressing; still CERN and CNAF missing. - Installation: started at NL-T1, KIT - Software: hopefully something ready in February (tell them to change the Weather Map picture) - In March we should have many of the MDM machines in place and also the weather map. Operations - Lot of work done on the Operational Model - Ticketing system ready on 1/2/2009 - Trial Period Feb-Apr/09. - Ticketing System: Add "Expected Impact" field BACKUP tests - To be run every at least every year and every time the router's config changes - Real fault counts as test - Document results on the twiki - Would be better to run all the tests before the restart of the LHC PERFORMANCE - Information will be complemented by MDM - MDM will also provide monthly reports - ASPDrawer will run for 2009. When MDM will be in production, we'll decide its future. - CERN may provide a machine to host the ASPdrawer. TODO - Edoardo: Put in the map the T1 sites that have backup via the generic Internet - Guillame: Fix date(s) for the training, maybe one in Europe and one in North America. - Partecipants of the training: fix a periodic Operation phone call - CERN: to provide the audio conference system - Edoardo-Guillaume: retrieve all the missing user to access GGUS. - OPS-WG: provide key performance indicator to Wayne - CERN: machine for ASPDrawer NEXT MEETING - 21-22 April 2009 in Utrecht NL - Invite Surfent to present their new Geneva-Amsterdam fibre project - Invite BNL to present their plan for the network. - Operation evaluation - Report on status of the E2Emon - Proposal for backup-transit network OTHER IDEAS - Test Ethernet compressor - QoS in the LHCOPN. T0-T1=BE T1-T1=LBE - Security anyone?
