The purpose of this session is to provide an introduction on gLite middleware. The session will also include introductory presentations and practicals work, submitting jobs to EGEE using command line
The session is an accompaniment to the 4th EGEE User Forum which takes place in Catania 2-6 march 2009.
The tutorial is outside of the main Conference program and additional registration is needed. There is no fee for this event.

Venue and getting there
The training event will be held in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Catania.
You can find full details on how to get the to the University here, however, for your information directions from centre of Catania (railway station) are:
"Take one of the buses no. 432, or 449, or 628 to the "Città Universitaria". Bus tickets must be bought before entering the bus, at newstands or tobacconists. (Two newstands are located inside the Station). Tickets cost about 0.80 euro each. Remember to stamp the ticket upon entering the bus. Enter the University Campus through the main gate, turn to the left, and "climb" the hill to the first crossing (after about 100 meters). At this crossing, turn to the left and walk for about 80 meters. The Department building is on your left (see picture)."
Please Note - This course course will immediately follow the end of the OGF/EGEE User Forum, which is scheduled to finish at finish at 12.30, allowing 2 hours for participants to make their way from the User Forum venue at Le Ciminiere Convention Center, to the University of Catania. (The railway station is very close to the conference venue)
