    -RAMSES maintenance scheduled for Wednesday February 3rd.

    -beam quality during 2015:

    Interesting periods are August before and after the last weekend. The weekend is the one of week 35. You can compare setting for Thursday August 27 with after Saturday August 29 included. However, we had even better beam in October during RD51 beam time (our last parasitic period).

    Adrian will report after January 27th.

    -HVAC

    Budget code EATM for air conditioned: after the meeting Adrian told me that he already informed the new group leader of EN/EA (M. Brugger) that in turn will discuss this with the new EN department head in Chamonix. Nothing is decided yet, however they expect to get a positive answer.

    EN (Adrian?) will report soon. 

     

    -AIDA2020 funds for work at GIF:

    NIcolas Zagadinis, Paolo Iengo, ATL-RPC, ... will provide possible candidates for the application.

        New day for weekly access 10m

        1. M. Jeckel (TSO of 887) asked if it is possible to move the weekly access to GIF++ from Wed. to another day of the week in the periods when GIF runs with the irradiator only. The issue seems to be the availability of the overhead crane that on Wed’s during the MD is heavily used to open most of the other beam areas in EHN1. I answered saying that this decision has to be taken after the GIF TC has consulted the GIF users. Thus, can you please discuss this at the next GIF meeting ? Then, we have to go back to EN with an answer to this.
