We will review the renormalized cosmological perturbation theory formalism
to study non-linear evolution of structure formation in the Universe.
Aside of providing an efficient diagrammatic method to solve the equations
governing gravitational clustering, it was recently shown that, regarding
baryon acoustic oscillations features, the calculation of the dark matter
density power spectrum is in excellent agreement with the results from
N-body numerical simulations. Here, we will discuss an alternative
formulation of the method in terms of renormalization group inspired
techniques, and present some perspectives regarding future applications to
non-gaussian effects on the dark matter power spectrum.
