16:30 → 16:45 LIU-SPS SRR SPS-LJ-EC-0002 (EDMS 1572699) LSS1 configuration after relocation of the SPS Beam Dumping System to LSS5 during LS2

Space request reservation for LSS1 of the SPS during LS2, for positions 11610 through 11910. This SRR is part of the LHC Injectors Upgrade (LIU) framework, which covers SPS, and seeks to prepare the reliable delivery of the required beams to the LHC, to meet the goals of the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) project. Part of the LIU-SPS project concerns the upgrade of the SPS Beam Dump system, which is planned to be relocated from LSS1 to LSS5 with upgraded kicker system and dump block which will allow extraction of the full range of beam energies onto a single dump block.
