We will analyze the noncommutative geometry inspired solutions of Einstein
equations, which improve the conventional Schwarzschild and Reisner-Nordstroem solutions
and exhibit a new scenario for the black hole evaporation. In particular, we will show
that noncommutative coordinate fluctuations can cure the conventional singularities and
the divergent behavior of the black hole temperature. For the charged case, both the
Hawking and Schwinger pair creation are discussed in this new scenario.
Finally, we will analyze the above solutions in the presence of extradimensions and the
connections with the production of mini black holes, which is foreseen in the extreme
energy hadron collisions at the LHC in the next few months.
