Tour de table
Participants: Fenu, Raul, Georgia, Cafer, Andrea, Edu
- Edu: very promising results on the nonlinear knobs, his preliminary results show that 90% of the machine reach 100% of the nominal luminosit
- Fenu: working on the optimization of the beam distribution at the IP in order to maximise the sensitivity to the Higgsstrahlung process; he is currently experiencing some issue with the numerical stability of some results
- Raul is working on improving PLACET2 in order to bring to production the simulations of the CLIC Drive Beam recombination complex
- Georgia is preparing some PLACET scripts to perform particle tracking through a magnetic chicane (and a compressing arc) that features sextupoles to correct T566
- Cafer is working on the positron injector linac, and currently trying to match the optics to the realistic distribution obtained from detailed particle tracking in the pre-injector linac
- Andrea is working on multiple things, including the organization of the XbFEL event, the ECFA meeting in Santander and the simulation of electron cooling.
